At almost every single point in your life, people will always question and judge your choices and sometimes will try to bring you down. As long as you were not walking on the paths favoured by the majority, you were deemed as a failure, a stain on the perfect cloth of the society.
And it was almost funny when some people told you to just be yourself, yet most of the times they only want you to be the version of yourself that best suit their preferences. Not the version of you with all the dark thoughts and still trying and fighting to exist - but the version of yourself smiling and laughing and disregarding all the crushing emotions inside of you.
I’m tired, I’m sure you are too. But no matter what version of yourself you chose to show the world today, I hope you will always choose whatever works for you and whatever that would bring you peace.
What we are is beautiful, never let the world tell us otherwise.
