I truly appreciate the people who make an effort to stay connected, even when I pull away or become distant. Life can get overwhelming, and at times, I retreat into my own space, not always knowing how to reach out or communicate what I'm going through. But there are those who persist, reaching out with understanding, patience, and an open heart. They don't take my distance personally, and instead, they keep the door open, offering support without demanding it. It’s a rare and deeply valued quality to have someone who doesn’t give up on you, even when you’ve become hard to reach.
These friends remind me that true connection isn’t just about constant presence, but about being there when it matters. They show me that friendship isn’t conditional on always being available or being the most communicative. It’s about understanding the ebb and flow of life and accepting each other’s complexities. I’m grateful for those who make the effort, because it’s a reminder that real friendship is not just about the moments when things are easy, but about being there through the silence, the distance, and the times when words are harder to find.
