They don’t remember what actually happened. They remember what protects their ego. They twist the past until they become the victim, the hero, or the misunderstood one. And you? You become the aggressor, the problem, the villain in their story.
The scariest part? They’re not pretending. They truly believe it. That’s what makes them so dangerous. You’re not dealing with manipulation anymore. You’re dealing with delusion that looks like truth.
And I can tell you — it’s terrifying. Because once their version is locked in, it becomes fact, not just for them, but for anyone they talk to.
That’s the reality survivors like me have faced. And that’s why I’ll never stop speaking the truth.
