Stay Weird. It’s Your Superpower

“Don’t make yourself small for anyone.
Be the awkward, funny, intelligent, beautiful little weirder that you are.
Don’t hold back. Weird it out.”

Somewhere along the way, we were taught to edit ourselves — lower the volume, smooth the edges, dim the quirks so we’d be easier to digest. Smile more. Say less. Don’t be too much.

But here’s the truth: the right people don’t want a watered-down version of you. They want the laugh that comes out at the wrong time, the random facts, the deep thoughts at midnight, the humor that doesn’t land for everyone — and that’s okay.

Making yourself small never made anyone love you better.
It just made you invisible.

Your awkwardness? That’s authenticity.
Your intelligence? That’s power.
Your humor? That’s connection.
Your weird? That’s the magic.

And yes, some people will be uncomfortable. Good. Comfort zones are where creativity goes to nap. If your personality makes someone uneasy, it’s usually because they’re stuck living safely edited while you’re out here being real.

Here’s the slightly savage part:
If being fully yourself is “too much” for someone, they were never enough for you.

So stop shrinking. Stop rehearsing. Stop muting the parts of you that light up a room just because not everyone knows how to appreciate them.

Weird it out.
Take up space.
Be loud about your joy.
Be unapologetic about your mind.

Because the people who are meant for you won’t ask you to change —
They’ll recognize you immediately and think, finally. 😌✨
