Let’s talk about that frog.
You know the one.
Climbing a tree like he’s got something to prove while the entire Frog Committee™ is down below screaming, “IT’S IMPOSSIBLE! COME BACK! TREES AREN’T EVEN YOUR BRAND!”
And yet…
He reaches the top.
Why?
Because he couldn’t hear a single one of those loud, panicked, limitation-loving little voices.
Now let’s bring it home.
Imagine how different your life would look if you moved like that frog.
Not because you’re reckless.
Not because you don’t care.
But because you’ve finally realized that not every opinion deserves front-row seats in your decision-making.
Because let’s be honest—
A lot of people shouting “it’s impossible” aren’t experts…
They’re just uncomfortable watching you do something they were too afraid to try.
Some people call it concern.
Some people call it realism.
But a lot of it?
It’s projection in a cute little outfit.
And if you’re not careful, you’ll start shrinking your goals to fit other people’s comfort zones.
Hard pass.
Here’s the truth nobody loves to say out loud:
If you listen to everyone, you’ll end up living a life that belongs to… everyone else.
Meanwhile, the “deaf frog” mindset?
That’s where things get interesting.
That’s where you:
- Apply for the thing you’re “not ready” for
- Start the business people don’t understand
- Go after goals that make other people nervous
- Keep climbing… even when the crowd gets louder
Because here’s the secret—
The volume of the crowd doesn’t determine your outcome.
Your focus does.
And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do isn’t proving them wrong…
It’s simply not listening long enough for their doubt to become your belief.
So no, you don’t actually need to become deaf.
But you do need to get real selective about what you let in.
Not every voice is wisdom.
Not every warning is valid.
And not every “that’s impossible” deserves a response.
Sometimes the move is simple:
Climb anyway.
Smile later.
Wave from the top if you’re feeling petty.
Moral of the story:
If the people around you are committed to the ground…
you might need to turn the volume down on them to reach higher ground.
Be the frog. Just… with boundaries. 😌
