🍪 The Real MVPs Deserve More Respect

Every January, the internet suddenly becomes a support group for kale, lettuce, and plain grilled chicken. Meanwhile, cookies are getting dragged like they personally ruined everyone's New Year's resolutions.

Let's be honest for a second...

Who showed up when your boss sent that email?

Who was there after a breakup?

Who comforted you during tax season?

Who celebrated your promotion, your birthday, your kid's graduation, and every "I survived Monday" moment?

It wasn't lettuce.

Lettuce has never whispered, "Girl... you've earned this."

Brownies have.

Now, before the fitness police start warming up in the comments... yes, balance matters. Eat your vegetables. Drink your water. Take care of yourself.

But can we stop acting like enjoying dessert is some kind of character flaw?

Life is stressful enough. Sometimes the healthiest thing for your soul is laughing with friends over a slice of cheesecake or sneaking one cookie straight from the package while pretending nobody saw it. (Spoiler alert: the dog definitely knows.)

Food shouldn't come with guilt trips. It should come with napkins.

So here's to the cupcakes that celebrated our wins, the ice cream that helped us through heartbreak, and the chocolate that has been a more loyal friend than some people.

People talk down on sweets...

But who's always had your back during the tough times?

Definitely not lettuce. 🥬😂

Now settle the debate...

🍰 What's your ultimate comfort sweet—the one that never lets you down?
