There comes a point in life when you stop asking yourself, "Why wasn't I good enough?" and start realizing that maybe, just maybe, you were never the problem in the first place!
I'm funny, I'm loving, I'm loyal, I've got a big heart, and yes, I might be a little crazy sometimes. But let's be clear, that's called personality, sweetheart! Nobody wants to spend their life with someone who has the excitement level of a soggy piece of toast! 😂
Here's something I've learned with age: Your worth doesn't decrease just because someone fails to recognize it. You can be the most beautiful sunset in the world, and somebody will still complain that it's too bright. That's their problem, not yours!
Stop exhausting yourself trying to convince people to appreciate what you bring to the table. The right people won't make you audition for a place in their lives. They'll appreciate your kindness, laugh at your ridiculous jokes, respect your boundaries, and love the wonderfully imperfect person you are.
And let's be realistic. We ALL have flaws. We have bad days, weird habits, emotional moments, and occasional episodes where our mouths operate a little faster than our brains. Some of us just happen to provide a little more entertainment than others! 🤣
But being imperfect doesn't make you unworthy of love, respect, or happiness.
The goal isn't to find someone who thinks you're perfect. It's to surround yourself with people who recognize your value without expecting you to become somebody else.
So stop shrinking yourself to fit into places you've outgrown. Stop chasing approval from people who wouldn't recognize genuine love if it knocked on their front door carrying a casserole!
Be yourself. Love yourself. Keep growing. And never apologize for having a personality, a backbone, and a heart that still believes in the good in people.
Because you're not everybody's cup of tea, and that's perfectly fine. Some people have terrible taste anyway! 😂❤️
