💼 THE SMARTEST PERSON IN THE ROOM? NO THANK YOU! 😂👏

We've all worked with that person. You know the one. They know EVERYTHING, everybody else knows NOTHING, and somehow they always have something negative to say about whoever isn't in the room. 🙄

Funny how the conversation changes depending on who's standing there, isn't it? 😂

Here's the thing. I've worked with some incredibly intelligent people over the years, including a few with attitudes that could use a little adjusting. And I'll give credit where it's due. I've learned a LOT from them!

But I've also learned something equally valuable... what kind of person I NEVER want to become.

I've never wanted to be the smartest person in the room. Why would I? If I already know everything, what the heck am I learning? 🤷‍♀️

Give me a room full of people who challenge me, teach me something new, share their knowledge, and actually want to see others succeed.

Because there's a BIG difference between being knowledgeable and acting superior.

Real intelligence doesn't need to belittle people to prove itself. And real confidence doesn't require an audience or a victim. 💯

The older I get, the more I appreciate people who are smart enough to know they don't know everything and secure enough to help someone else grow.

And one last thing... if you're constantly talking about everyone who leaves the room, don't be surprised when people start wondering what you're saying when THEY leave. 👀😂

Be the coworker people learn from, not the coworker people learn to avoid. ❤️👏
