Italian Beef Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:
10.5 oz 93% lean ground beef, raw
1/2 c no added sugar marinara sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
2 Tbsp fresh parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 c part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 bell peppers
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Cut bell peppers in half lengthwise & remove ribs & seeds. Place on baking sheet & bake 10-15 min.
Meanwhile, cook beef in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. When beef is almost cooked through, add garlic powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, & parmesan. Continue until meat is fully cooked, add marinara until combined, then set aside.
Scoop 1/4 of the meat mixture into each pepper half. Cover w/foil & bake for 15 min. Remove foil & add 2 Tbsp of cheese over each pepper half. Bake additional 5 min or until cheese has melted.
