**Narcissist Checklist**
1. **Two-faced** – Smiles to someone’s face but tears them down the moment they’re gone.
2. **Blames others for failures** – Nothing is ever their fault; there’s always a scapegoat.
3. **Acts different in public vs. private** – Charming to outsiders, cold or cruel behind closed doors.
4. **Unreliable** – Promises a lot, delivers little, and vanishes when truly needed.
5. **Superior attitude** – Looks down on others as if they are less intelligent, less capable, or less important.
6. **Lives in fantasy** – Obsessed with affairs, pornography, or unrealistic dreams of fame and status.
7. **Distorts facts** – Twists stories to fit their own agenda, even rewriting history to make themselves look better.
8. **Irresponsible with money** – Reckless spending, financial lies, and a refusal to take accountability for debt.
9. **Conditional emotions** – Only shows warmth or “care” when there’s something in it for them.
10. **Lacks empathy** – Can’t (or won’t) understand or connect with other people’s feelings.
11. **Controlling** – Tries to micromanage people’s choices, relationships, and independence.
12. **Provokes conflict** – Starts arguments, then blames the other person for “overreacting.”
13. **Never admits mistakes** – Would rather lie, project, or attack than say, “I was wrong.”
This list isn’t just about bad behavior — it’s about patterns. When several of these traits show up consistently, you’re not dealing with harmless quirks. You’re seeing the hallmarks of a personality that thrives on control, manipulation, and self-preservation at the expense of everyone else.
