She had spent so much of her life trying to win the attention and affection of the people she met..yet, always ended up feeling empty inside.

She needed more than the simple pleasure of chasing fake adoration and pretend acceptance.

Superficial would never make her happy, so she learned to let the fake people, temporary satisfactions and pretenses of adoration go..

She didn’t need or want those things in her life anymore.

Her soul whispered quietly what she had known deep down for so long:

Her life would never be happy until she filled her days with intense passion, deep soul connections and a sense of purpose.

Following the crowd, being trendy and worrying about all the people that didn’t like her were all the things that she finally realized she had to stop thinking about..

Those weren’t part of her destiny or purpose.

She was bigger than that and needed more in her life than simplicity…

Unless it was the heartfelt simple kindness of others.

That she always welcomed..

But the negativity, the worry and the people that didn’t matter.

She left them behind and burned the bridge.

She wasn’t going back there, for there was nothing for her there.

It took her some time, some self love and some hard battles, but she found her wings right where they were all along.

But one must have the courage to fly with the wings, so that’s what she did.

She stepped up, found her bravery, discovered her courage and in the end,

She flew her way to the place meant for her-

And Love was waiting,

Like it had been …all along.

Fairy tales always seem to involve love..hers just had a couple extra twists.
