Today isn’t just another holiday — it’s a reminder.
What is a Veteran?
A Veteran — whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve — is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to the United States of America for an amount up to and including their life.
That’s not just service.
That’s honor.
That’s sacrifice.
And in a world where comfort often overshadows courage, it’s easy for people to forget the price behind the freedoms we enjoy every single day.
So today, and every day, I just want to say—
Thank you.
To the men and women who’ve stood watch while we slept soundly.
To those who’ve missed birthdays, holidays, and milestones so we could live ours in peace.
To every family who’s carried the weight of that service alongside them.
You are the reason we get to dream, build, and believe in “home.” 🏡❤️💙
