Let’s be honest—I couldn’t ask for better friends.
Could I ask for more normal ones? Technically, yes.
Would I? Absolutely not. Because normal is boring, predictable, and would never survive a group chat after 9 p.m.
Enter my friends: the elves dancing in the background of my life, turning every minor inconvenience into a full-blown comedy special. These are the people who show up loud, loyal, slightly unhinged, and ready to make memories that would absolutely need context if ever explained.
And that’s the magic.
Normal friends might keep things tidy. My friends keep things interesting. They’re the reason laughter happens in inappropriate places, plans are made last-minute, and inside jokes exist that will never make sense to anyone else—and that’s exactly the point.
Here’s the gentle savage truth:
Life already comes with stress, responsibility, and enough seriousness to last a lifetime. If your circle doesn’t add joy, humor, and a little chaos, what are we even doing?
These friendships are built on shared chaos and mutual understanding. We’ve seen each other at our best, our worst, and our “please never bring this up again” moments—and stayed anyway. That’s real.
So no, I don’t want calm, collected, or predictable.
I want the friends who dance when life gets heavy.
Who laugh when things fall apart.
Who remind me that joy is allowed—even when everything isn’t perfect.
I couldn’t ask for better friends.
And normal? Normal can sit this one out. 😏✨
