Because I'd rather deal with someone who admits they're a mess than someone pretending they've never made one! 😂💯
Let me tell you something I've learned over the years…
Some of the most genuine, kindhearted, loving people I've ever met have made mistakes, taken wrong turns, fought battles nobody knows about, and have a past they're not particularly proud of.
And you know what? That's called being HUMAN! ❤️
But then you've got the other crowd…
The ones who walk around judging everybody else's choices while conveniently forgetting their own.
The ones who preach kindness but practice cruelty.
The ones who talk about forgiveness but hold grudges like they're collecting interest.
And my personal favorite? The ones who can quote scripture all day long but somehow skipped every lesson about how to treat people! 🙄😂
Honey, knowing the words and living by them are two completely different things!
Now, don't misunderstand me. This isn't about religion or judging anyone's faith. I respect people who genuinely try to live by their beliefs.
This is about HYPOCRISY.
Because there's a huge difference between someone who's imperfect and honest about it and someone who's imperfect but spends their time pretending they're better than everybody else.
Give me the person who can say, "I've messed up. I've hurt people. I've made bad decisions. But I'm learning, growing, and trying to do better."
THAT is someone I can respect.
Not because they're perfect, but because they're accountable.
And accountability? That's something you can't fake forever.
I've always believed that a person's character isn't measured by how loudly they announce their goodness.
It's measured by how they treat people when nobody's watching.
How they treat someone who has nothing to offer them.
How they respond when they're wrong.
Whether they show compassion to someone who's struggling instead of using that person's mistakes as entertainment.
Because being a good person isn't a performance, and kindness isn't supposed to be a costume you put on for an audience! 🎭
And let's talk about something else…
Just because someone has a past doesn't mean they're a bad person today.
People change. People heal. People grow.
Some of the strongest, most compassionate people are the ones who've been through hell and decided they didn't want anyone else to feel the pain they experienced.
Meanwhile, some people are so busy polishing their halos that they don't notice the damage they're doing with their words and actions.
Careful, sweetheart. That halo's looking a little crooked! 😇😂🐍
Here's where I stand.
I don't need perfect people in my life.
I need REAL people.
People who can admit when they're wrong.
People who don't need to tear someone else down to feel superior.
People whose actions match their words.
People who understand that having flaws doesn't make you a failure, but refusing to acknowledge them can certainly keep you from growing.
And no, being honest about your mistakes doesn't automatically excuse them. You still have to take responsibility and do better.
That's the difference.
I'd rather sit beside someone who's honest about their struggles than someone who hides behind a perfect image while secretly causing chaos.
Because at the end of the day, I don't care how impressive your title is, how much money you have, how many inspirational quotes you post, or how loudly you proclaim your values.
Show me your HEART.
Show me your INTEGRITY.
Show me how you TREAT PEOPLE.
That's what matters to me. ❤️
And if that means my circle stays small, I'm perfectly fine with that.
I'd rather have a few beautifully imperfect, genuine people around me than a room full of people pretending to be something they're not.
Life's too short for fake halos and hidden fangs! 🐍🤣
❤️ Here's My Question for You…
Would you rather surround yourself with people who openly admit their flaws and work on themselves, or people who pretend to have it all together while constantly judging everyone else?
Me? I'll take honesty, humility, and a good heart every single time.
Because I'd rather hear an uncomfortable truth than be comforted by a beautiful lie. 💯❤️
