Being bored inspiration
For many of us, our lives are so filled with action, not to mention responsibilities, that it's almost impossible for us to sit still and do nothing, much less relax- even for a few minutes. It almost seems that people are no longer human beings, they are human doings.
Being bored occasionally can actually be good for you. I know that you may be thinking "Why on earth would I choose to be bored?". If you allow yourself the freedom of being bored sometimes, the feelings of boredom will be replaced with feelings of peace. It helps you learn to relax in this ever stressful world.
Much of our anxiety and inner struggle stems from our busy, overactive minds always needing something to entertain them, something to focus on. We are always wondering "What's next"? It's almost like we are frightened at the thought of not having something to do, even for a minute.
The beauty of doing nothing is that it teaches you to clear your mind and relax. It allows your mind some freedom. Just like your body, your mind needs an occasional break from the everyday hectic routine of life. When you allow your mind to take a break, it comes back stronger, sharper, more focused and creative.
When you allow the freedom of being bored, it takes an huge amount of pressure off of you to be performing and doing something every second of the day.
You probably never thought someone would actually suggest that you allow yourself to be bored :-)
Enjoy

Life? What is it? It is one hard journey. You live, you learn, you screw up, you learn. I don't know if anyone will actually see and really look at my little old school blog but I enjoy sharing. My mind squirrels at times so I love to just post random stuff that I like. I hope that something I post touches you or helps you in some way. We are in this road called "Life" together :-) Let's help one another and practice some kindness along the way! #justagirlwithadogandablog
