"I finally figured it out. The problem is me. I walk into people's lives with loyalty, honesty, love, peace, and genuine intentions. Apparently that's disruptive behavior in a world where some people are more comfortable with chaos than consistency."
You ever notice how healthy feels suspicious to people who are addicted to dysfunction?
You show up communicating clearly, and suddenly you're "too much."
You show up loyal, and they're waiting for the hidden agenda.
You bring peace, and they're looking around for the drama because silence makes them uncomfortable.
You love sincerely, and they don't know what to do with someone who isn't playing games.
Honestly, the audacity. 😂
Maybe the problem isn't that you're too kind.
Maybe it's that not everyone is ready for kindness.
Maybe the problem isn't your loyalty.
Maybe they're more familiar with inconsistency.
Maybe the problem isn't your peace.
Maybe chaos has been living rent-free in their head for so long that calm feels unfamiliar.
Here's the thing though: don't let that make you shrink.
Don't become colder because someone couldn't appreciate your warmth.
Don't stop being genuine because someone preferred pretending.
Don't trade your peace for the privilege of fitting into someone else's dysfunction.
And let's be real for a second...
None of us are perfect.
We all have flaws.
We all have baggage.
We all have healing left to do.
But being loving, loyal, honest, and bringing good energy into someone's life isn't a character flaw.
If that's "the problem," then some of us are going to stay problematic. 💁♀️
Protect your peace.
Keep your heart kind.
Stay real.
The right people won't be intimidated by your authenticity.
They'll finally feel at home in it.
