Maybe That’s Enough

At the end of the day, maybe we’re making life way more complicated than it needs to be.

We spend so much time worrying about what we haven’t accomplished, what someone else has, where we should be by now, and whether our life looks impressive enough from the outside.

Meanwhile, the things that actually matter are often much simpler.

Did you do your best today?

Are the people you love okay?

Do you have something to be grateful for?

Then maybe you’re doing better than you think.

Because nobody gets through life with everything perfectly figured out. There will always be another goal, another bill, another problem, another thing on the never-ending “adulting is apparently a subscription service” list. ๐Ÿ˜‚

You can chase success without letting it convince you that you're failing.

You can want more without being ungrateful for what you already have.

And you can have a bad day without deciding you have a bad life.

Sometimes your best looks like conquering the world.

Sometimes it looks like answering the emails, getting through the day, feeding the dog, checking on your people, and finally putting your feet up.

Both count.

So tonight, instead of making a mental list of everything you didn't get done, take a minute to notice what you did.

You showed up.

You loved someone.

You kept going.

You made it through another day.

And if the people you love are safe, you're thankful for what you have, and you know you gave today your best effort…

maybe that's enough for today.

Tomorrow can worry about tomorrow.

Tonight, count your blessings—not your shortcomings.

Because life isn't a competition to see who can look the most successful while secretly falling apart.

Peace, health, love, and gratitude are pretty damn good accomplishments too. ❤️
