Let them misunderstand you.

Let them judge you.

Let them gossip.

Honestly… let them wear themselves out. 😂

Because somewhere along the way, we started believing that if someone has the wrong opinion of us, we need to rush in and correct the record.

Explain ourselves.

Defend our choices.

Prove our intentions.

Write a whole damn closing argument for the jury of people who weren’t even invited to the trial. 😂

Stop.

Not everyone is going to understand you. And they don’t have to.

Some people will only see the version of you that fits the story they’ve already created in their head. Others will hear one side of something and run with it like they’re being paid per rumor.

That’s okay.

Their misunderstanding doesn't become your truth.

Their judgment doesn't determine your value.

Their gossip doesn't subtract a single ounce from who you are.

And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply keep living your life without constantly stopping to explain it.

You know who you are.

You know what you've survived.

You know how hard you've worked to become the person you are today.

You know the things nobody else saw.

And you don't need a unanimous vote from the peanut gallery to know your own worth. 😉

So keep growing.

Keep laughing.

Keep loving.

Keep setting boundaries.

Keep choosing peace.

Keep becoming the woman you were meant to be.

And if somebody doesn't like the view?

They can look somewhere else.

You don't need to dim your light because somebody else is uncomfortable with the brightness.

You are beautiful.

You are worthy.

You are still becoming.
