Let’s normalize canceling mean girl energy once and for all.
Because babe… if you’re over 30 and still operating like you’re auditioning for the cafeteria table of your high school? We need to talk. π
Being grown doesn’t mean you’ll never get annoyed, jealous, hurt, or pissed off. You’re human. But there’s a BIG difference between having feelings and making everyone else pay for them.
The gossip.
The exclusion.
The passive-aggressive comments.
The unnecessary competition.
The “I’m just being honest” excuse when you’re actually being cruel. π
And let’s not forget the classic: “That’s just how I am.”
No, Sis. That’s how you choose to behave. There’s a difference.
Sometimes the healthiest response isn't clapping back, exposing somebody, or making sure everyone knows your side of the story.
Sometimes it's therapy.
Sometimes it's meditation.
Sometimes it's touching some actual grass. π±
Sometimes it's healing whatever wound has you treating innocent people like emotional punching bags.
Because being mean isn't a personality. Being petty isn't a personality. And being miserable isn't a personality.
You don't have to like everyone.
You don't have to agree with everyone.
You don't even have to keep everyone in your life.
But you can still have enough emotional maturity to disagree without becoming disrespectful.
We're too damn grown to still be playing Mean Girls.
Heal. Grow. Mind your business. Drink your water.
And if absolutely necessary… go touch some grass before you type that comment. ππ±
Because honestly?
Kindness is still free. And maturity looks damn good on everybody.
