I love when people say, "You need to get out and socialize more!"
With WHO exactly?! 😂
Don't get me wrong, I love good company, genuine friendships, great conversations, and people who can make me laugh until my stomach hurts.
But some folks make socializing feel like an unpaid internship in conflict resolution. 🙄
Between the drama enthusiasts, professional victims, habitual liars, and people who treat gossip like an Olympic sport, sometimes staying home sounds absolutely delightful.
And let's be clear, I'm not antisocial. I'm selectively social. There's a difference! 😂
At this age, I don't need a huge circle. Give me a handful of genuine people who are funny, honest, loyal, and don't require a psychological evaluation after every conversation.
I enjoy people. I just don't enjoy everybody's nonsense.
Life's too short to spend your free time recovering from the people you spent it with. ❤️
And honestly, that tea party with the angry crocodiles is starting to sound pretty entertaining. At least you know who's planning to bite you! 🐊😂
