Here's something about manipulation that doesn't get talked about enough. Some people don't want a relationship with you. They want control over you. They want your attention, your loyalty, your forgiveness, and unlimited access to your peace... preferably without ever having to take accountability for their behavior. How convenient! 🙄😂
And the funny thing? The moment you start recognizing the patterns, asking questions, and setting boundaries, suddenly YOU become the problem. Apparently, having a backbone wasn't part of their original plan!
But here's what I've learned: You don't have to diagnose someone, expose them, or convince the world of what you've experienced. Their behavior tells you what you need to know. Pay attention to patterns, not promises.
The greatest freedom comes when you stop trying to make someone understand the pain they keep choosing to cause.
Let them tell their stories. Let them play the victim. Let them audition for an Oscar if they need to. 🎬
You have a life to live, peace to protect, and absolutely no obligation to keep participating in somebody else's circus.
And remember, boundaries aren't punishment. They're what happens when self-respect finally takes the wheel. ❤️
