Here's something I've learned over the years… just because someone is friendly doesn't necessarily mean they're your friend!
Some people will cheer for you, some will secretly compete with you, and some will ask how you're doing just to see if you're doing worse than they are. Bless their little hearts! 😂
Pay attention to the people who only show up when they need something, gossip about everyone else, make you feel guilty for having boundaries, or suddenly go quiet when something good happens in your life.
And remember, if someone is comfortable telling you everybody else's secrets, don't be surprised when yours become the next conversation! ☕🤣
You don't have to dislike people, argue with them, or make some big dramatic announcement. Sometimes you just need to love people from a distance and stop giving everyone unlimited access to your life.
Protecting your peace isn't being mean. It's being smart. ❤️
And let's be clear… I'm all for second chances, but some folks have had more chances than a cat has lives, and STILL haven't figured out how to act! 🤣🐈
Be kind, trust your instincts, and remember… not everybody deserves VIP access. Some people belong in the nosebleed section! 😂👏❤️
