She’s the woman who can cry over a sad song, a movie, a memory from 2007, or a dog she saw on TikTok…
…and then five minutes later be like, “Anyway, what are we doing about this problem?”
Because yes, she feels everything.
EVERYTHING.
She loves hard. She cares deeply. She overthinks conversations she had three days ago while brushing her teeth. She remembers the exact tone you used when you said, “Okay.” And if you think she didn't notice that tiny shift in your attitude?
Oh, honey.
She noticed. She just hasn't decided whether you're worth the energy it would take to address it yet. π
She’s a princess because she knows her worth.
She’s a crybaby because she has a heart that hasn't been completely hardened by the world.
And she’s a gangster because life has tested her enough times to teach her that sometimes you have to wipe your own tears, straighten your crown, and handle business.
She can be soft without being weak.
She can be emotional without being unstable.
She can be sensitive without being fragile.
And she can cry about it AND STILL HANDLE IT.
That's the part people sometimes don't understand.
They see the tears and assume she's weak.
They see the softness and think she's easy to walk over.
They see her forgiving nature and mistake it for permission to keep playing in her face.
Big mistake.
Because eventually, that sweet little princess gets tired.
The crybaby dries her tears.
And the gangster clocks in.
And let me tell you something about that combination:
The gangster doesn't always show up angry.
Sometimes she just gets quiet.
Sometimes she stops explaining.
Sometimes she stops chasing.
Sometimes she simply looks at you and thinks, “You know what? I actually don't have to deal with this.”
And THAT is when you know the meeting has been adjourned. π
She’s a beautiful contradiction.
She can be a hopeless romantic and a ruthless realist.
She can want flowers and forehead kisses while simultaneously having a detailed exit strategy.
She can be vulnerable enough to tell you how she feels and strong enough to walk away when you repeatedly show her that her feelings don't matter to you.
She can cry all night and still show up the next morning looking like she has absolutely no business being as fabulous as she is.
That's not weakness.
That's resilience with mascara on.
So if you're lucky enough to have a woman like this in your life, don't mistake her softness for stupidity.
Don't take her kindness for granted.
Don't assume that because she loves you, she'll tolerate anything you do.
And for the love of all things holy, don't make her ask you for the same basic respect 47 times.
Because she's patient.
She's loving.
She's understanding.
But she's also been through enough to know that sometimes the most powerful thing a woman can say is:
“I'm good.”
And when she says it without explaining herself?
Baby…
She's GOOD good.
So here's to the women who are a little bit princess, a little bit crybaby, and a whole lot of gangster.
The women with soft hearts and strong boundaries.
The women who feel deeply but refuse to stay down.
The women who cry when it hurts, laugh when it's ridiculous, pray when it's heavy, and then get back up and handle whatever life throws at them.
And if you can't handle all three versions of her?
That's okay.
Some people simply aren't qualified for the three-for-one special. ππ
