When Good Shit Feels Suspicious πŸ˜‚❤️

“Some of us have been through so much bullshit in life that good shit feels like a setup.”

And honestly? That’s not even a joke. πŸ˜‚

When life has handed you enough plot twists, disappointments, betrayals, heartbreak, and straight-up “Are you fucking kidding me?” moments, eventually your nervous system starts treating happiness like a suspicious package.

Something good happens and instead of enjoying it, your brain is like:

“Okay… but what’s about to happen?” πŸ‘€

Someone treats you right?
Suspicious.

You finally get some peace?
Definitely suspicious.

Things start falling into place?
Ma’am, we need to investigate.

You meet someone who actually communicates, shows up, keeps their word, and doesn’t make you question your entire existence?

“Nice try, Satan.” πŸ˜‚

But here's the thing…

Sometimes good really is just good.

Not every blessing has a hidden bill attached to it.
Not every person is secretly waiting to disappoint you.
Not every peaceful season is the calm before the storm.

Sometimes you've simply survived enough bullshit that your brain forgot what safe, healthy, and genuinely good feels like.

And healing isn't just learning how to walk away from bad things.

Sometimes healing is learning how to stay when something good shows up.

To stop looking for the trap.
To stop waiting for the other shoe to drop.
To stop sabotaging something beautiful because you're convinced you're about to get hurt.

You don't have to become naΓ―ve.

Keep your boundaries. Keep your discernment. Keep your standards.

But maybe… just maybe… let the good shit be good shit. ❤️

You have survived enough chaos.

You are allowed to experience peace without interrogating it like a suspect.

And if your brain still whispers, “Something's not right…”

Take a breath and tell that little trauma gremlin:

“Girl, sit down. We're trying something new. We're enjoying the good shit.” πŸ˜‚❤️

Because maybe this time…

it isn't a setup.
Maybe it's just finally your turn.
