Halloween Oreo Reese’s Bats πŸ¦‡πŸ«πŸŽƒ

Okay, these might be the cutest little creatures you'll willingly invite into your kitchen.

Oreo Reese’s Bats! πŸ¦‡

They're chocolatey.
They're peanut buttery.
They're ridiculously easy.

And most importantly, they require zero baking skills whatsoever.

Because sometimes Halloween treats should be less Great British Bake Off and more I melted chocolate and somehow became Martha Stewart. πŸ˜‚

πŸ¦‡ Halloween Oreo Reese’s Bats

You'll Need:

  • 12 Oreo cookies

  • 12 regular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

  • 1½ cups milk or dark chocolate chips

  • 24 candy eyeballs

  • 24 white chocolate chips

  • 24 mini chocolate chips

  • Halloween sprinkles, optional

πŸŽƒ Let's Make Some Bats!

1. Melt the chocolate.

Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each one, until smooth.

Don't get impatient and blast it for two minutes.

Chocolate remembers disrespect. πŸ˜‚

2. Give those Oreos a chocolate bath.

Dip each Oreo into the melted chocolate until completely coated.

Use a fork to lift it out, gently tap off the excess chocolate, and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

3. Make the Reese’s wings.

Unwrap the Reese’s cups and carefully cut each one in half.

Take two halves and gently press them into opposite sides of each chocolate-covered Oreo while the chocolate is still wet.

Boom. Bat wings. πŸ¦‡

If they don't want to cooperate, use a little extra melted chocolate as edible glue.

4. Give them some personality.

Press two candy eyeballs onto each bat.

Add two mini chocolate chips near the top for tiny bat ears.

And because apparently we're making adorable vampires now, add two white chocolate chips—pointy side down—for little fangs. πŸ˜‚

5. Let your bats chill.

Allow them to sit at room temperature until the chocolate sets, or pop them into the refrigerator for about 15–20 minutes if patience isn't one of your spiritual gifts.

Same. 😏

πŸ‘» Make Them Even More Halloween-y

Arrange your bats on a platter and scatter orange, purple and black sprinkles around them.

You could also add candy pumpkins, gummy worms or crushed Oreos to make a little edible Halloween graveyard.

These would be adorable for:

Halloween parties πŸŽƒ
School treats πŸ‘»
Movie nights 🍿
Kids' activities πŸ¦‡
Or eating three of them alone in your kitchen while insisting you're “just testing the recipe.”

Quality control is important. πŸ˜‚

πŸ¦‡ A Little Tip

If your Reese’s cups crack when you're cutting them, let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes first and use a sharp knife with a gentle sawing motion.

And buy a couple extra Reese’s.

Not because you'll necessarily need them.

Because somehow Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups tend to mysteriously disappear during recipes.

It's science. 🀷‍♀️πŸ˜‚

Spooky. Cute. Chocolatey. Peanut buttery. And almost too adorable to eat.

I said almost. πŸ˜πŸ¦‡πŸ«
