Ingredients For Easy Kale and Garlic Hummus Dehydrated Meal Idea

Kale is known as a “superfood” due to its high vitamin and antioxidant content.
This recipe is not just great tasting, it’s good for you! Win-win.
Makes 2 1⁄2 cups.


Large Bag:
1 cup dehydrated pureed chickpeas, crumbled.
3 tablespoons sesame seeds.
1⁄2 teaspoon finely ground dehydrated garlic.
1 cup dehydrated kale leaves.
1⁄2 teaspoon dehydrated lemon zest.
1⁄2 teaspoon sea salt.


Cooking Ingredients

  • 2 1⁄2 cups boiling water
  • 1⁄4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
To Rehydrate
1. Open dehydrated hummus bag and pour into a small heat-safe bowl, then add boiling water.
2. Let sit for 2 to 3 minutes, then stir, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours. It will thicken as it chills.
3. Stir in extra-virgin olive oil before serving.
