There comes a point when a woman gets tired of explaining herself, lowering her standards, and making herself smaller just so everyone else can stay comfortable.
And when she reaches that point?
She moves different.
She stops chasing people who keep showing her they don't want to be caught.
She stops forcing relationships that feel one-sided.
She stops accepting bare minimum behavior and calling it “potential.”
She stops explaining boundaries to people who understood them perfectly the first time.
And suddenly people say, “You've changed.”
Yep.
That was the idea. ๐
She’s learned that protecting her peace isn't selfish.
Having standards isn't being difficult.
Walking away isn't always giving up.
Sometimes walking away is finally choosing yourself.
She still loves hard.
She still gives grace.
She still has a big heart.
But now she understands that having a big heart doesn't mean leaving the front door unlocked for everybody. ๐ ๐
She's not interested in being liked by everyone anymore.
She wants to be respected, fulfilled, peaceful, and authentic.
And if that requires leaving behind people, places, habits, or situations that no longer fit the woman she's becoming?
Pack your bags, sweetheart. We’re not dragging dead weight into the next chapter. ✌️
Because growth doesn't always look like becoming someone new.
Sometimes it looks like finally becoming the person you were before you started shrinking yourself for everybody else. ❤️
Raise your standards. Protect your peace. Know your worth. And don't apologize for outgrowing what you once tolerated.
