Being strong wasn’t something I always understood.
It’s something I picked up along the way, in moments when I had no other choice.
I remember times when everything seemed to be falling apart.
Life didn’t turn out the way I expected, and the people I trusted the most let me down.
It was then that I realized I couldn’t rely on others to feel whole or safe.
I learned that real strength comes when you face loneliness and, instead of feeling defeated, you make it your ally.
Life showed me that pain isn’t the enemy.
It taught me that crying doesn’t make you weak ~ in fact, it helps you heal and feel more deeply.
Every tear carries a lesson, reminding you that after the storm, calm will follow.
Being strong isn’t about hiding what hurts, it’s about facing your fears and accepting them. It’s not about pretending everything is okay, it’s about acknowledging the bad days without letting them define you.
I’ve learned that strength isn’t about never falling but about how you rise again. And you don’t always get up right away ~ sometimes, it takes time.
What matters is not staying down.
I’ve fallen many times, tripped over my own mistakes and the challenges life threw my way, but each time I got back up, I felt more secure in who I am.
Being strong means understanding that self-love is at the core of everything.
You can’t wait for others to fill the gaps only you can fill.
I’ve learned to be my own best friend, to be gentle with myself on tough days, and to celebrate every small win, because those moments remind me of how far I’ve come.
Life itself, with all its flaws & obstacles, taught me to be strong. And while I still have much to learn, I know that as long as I hold onto that inner strength, I can face whatever comes my way. 🤍🕊️🖤
