8 ounces shell pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 can diced tomatoes
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Cook the shell pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add the onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms have softened.
Add the diced tomatoes (with their juices) and beef broth to the skillet. Stir well and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Add the cooked ground beef back to the skillet and stir to combine it with the sauce. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
Add the cooked shell pasta to the skillet and toss it with the sauce until well coated.
Remove the skillet from the heat. Serve the creamy beef and shells in bowls, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if desired.
