Cheesesteak in a Bowl Recipe Idea

 


Cheesesteak in a bowl


Ingredients:

3.75 ounces lean beef/roast beef/steak (3/4 leaner)

1/2 cup (2.63 oz) red peppers (1 green)

1/2 cup (1.52 oz) portabella mushrooms (1 green)

1/2 cup (1.99 oz) zucchini noodles (1 green)

1/4 tsp garlic salt (1 condiment)

1/2 tsp onion powder (1 condiment)

1 ounce reduced fat provolone cheese (1/4 lean)

1 tbsp hot hoagie spread (make sure has 1 gram of carbs or less per tbsp such as tallarico’s brand) (1 condiment)


Directions:

1. Spray non stick pan with cooking spray.

2. Sauté mushrooms, peppers and zucchini noodles with garlic salt and onion powder until slightly softened.

3. Remove from pan

4. Add chicken to pan and cook.

5. Once cooked, remove from pan, weigh 4.5 ounces and add chicken and veggies back to pan and mix together

6. Put cheese on top and cover pan until melted. (About a minute or two)

7. Transfer to plate and top with hoagie spread.

8. Enjoy!


Serves 1

1 lean, 3 greens, 3 condiments
