When I feel a disconnection with someone, it’s rarely without reason.

I’ve spent enough time trying to bridge gaps, initiate conversations, and resolve conflicts peacefully. But over time, I’ve learned that not every effort is met with openness or understanding. Instead, it’s often met with resistance, defensiveness, or unnecessary drama. And so, I’ve come to a place where I no longer feel the need to fight for clarity where it doesn’t exist.

If the energy between us no longer feels aligned, that’s all the clarity I need. My peace has become more valuable than trying to fix connections that no longer feel right.

Knowing When to Let Go

There’s a profound strength in recognizing that not every situation requires explanation or justification. Sometimes, you simply feel the disconnect. You see it, you sense it—and that is enough. People who genuinely care about you won’t repeatedly put you in situations where you have to fight for respect, peace, or clarity.
