For the Cake:
1 box of yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk
For the Cheesecake Layer:
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
For the Banana Pudding:
1 pack of instant banana pudding mix (5.1 oz)
2 cups milk
For the Topping:
Vanilla wafers, crushed
Whole vanilla wafers for garnish
Caramel syrup for drizzling
Directions:
1. Prepare the Cake:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake according to package instructions (about 25-30 minutes) or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely.
2. Make the Cheesecake Layer:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
3. Prepare the Banana Pudding:
Whisk the banana pudding mix with 2 cups of milk according to the package instructions, and let it set for 5 minutes.
4. Assemble the Cake:
Once the cake has cooled, slice it in half horizontally to create two layers.
Spread a layer of banana pudding over the bottom cake layer.
Add a layer of cheesecake mixture over the banana pudding.
Place the second layer of cake on top and spread the remaining cheesecake mixture over it.
5. Add the Toppings:
Crush the vanilla wafers and sprinkle them generously over the top of the cake.
Garnish with whole vanilla wafers around the edge of the cake.
Drizzle with caramel syrup for an extra touch of sweetness.
6. Chill and Serve:
Place the cake in the fridge for at least 3 hours, or overnight, to let the layers set.
Serve chilled and enjoy this creamy, dreamy Banana Pudding Cheesecake Cake!
Perfect for gatherings, special occasions, or when you just want to indulge in a delicious, layered dessert!
