Cranberry Brie Sourdough Pull-Apart Bread
A festive and delicious appetizer!
For the Bread:
1 loaf sourdough bread
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
For the Filling:
1 wheel of brie cheese
1 cup cranberry sauce
Instructions:
Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Bread: Cut the sourdough bread into 1-inch cubes.
Mix the Butter Mixture: In a bowl, combine softened butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
Assemble the Bread: In a greased baking dish, layer the bread cubes, butter mixture, and cranberry sauce. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.
Tips:
For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
You can use different types of cheese, such as brie or camembert.
Serve with crackers or breadsticks for dipping.
