Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Parmesan Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

For the Steak Bites:

1.5 lbs (680g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:

1 tablespoon butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions:

Steak Bites Preparation:

Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Once the butter has melted, add the steak in a single layer.

Cook the steak bites for about 3-4 minutes, turning to brown all sides until they reach the desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, and parsley, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Return the steak bites to the skillet, toss to coat them in the garlic herb butter, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Parmesan Cream Sauce Preparation:

In a separate skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir occasionally.

Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

Serving:

Pour the Parmesan cream sauce over the steak bites in the skillet or serve it on the side as a dipping sauce.

Garnish with additional parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 4
